WAC Uniform ID Dressler SUPREME HQ EUROPE. This womans WAC uniform from WWII is the difficult to find ETO battle dress. Made in England with the buttons and such showing the British construction. This tunic is tailor made as the tag shows inside. Her name and number on both the skirt and tunic as seen.
Small excellent condition uniform with the waist of the skirt being about 24 inches when measured. The jacket is small as well. Being the British pattern, the jacket does attach to the skirt with 2 buttons. Condition is excellent with all the original insignia. The collar disk is zinc back war time issue. Original ribbon bar shows 2 battle stars for this unit she was in.
The clutches are the original flat back type with the ribbons being the waxed type. The shirt is a quality OD wool winter type in excellent condition and marked 34 inside. It is a WAC issue type with the puckered shoulder construction. This WAC uniform grouping identified is very small but really packs a punch if it was displayed on a mannequin.
Identified to a G. Dressler with serial number W-789007 inside the jacket and skirt.
