USMC GAS CAPE 1943 DATED IN WRAP. Issued to each man for the protection of gas droplets from the air for chemical warfare. A few of the Marines wore them as rain ponchos in the field. They were light to carry and easy to store. Excellent condition and a date of 1943.
A nice addition to a Marines combat gear collection. These have the correct NSXX code for Marine and Navy issue item.
