Unknown SA kepi insignia. Condition excellent. I have looked this insignia over and see it as good and period from the wear and construction. Eagle is the standard early SA eagle. The prongs are longer to work with the thickness

Unknown SA kepi insignia. Condition excellent. I have looked this insignia over and see it as good and period from the wear and construction. Eagle is the standard early SA eagle. Also the prongs are longer to work with the thickness of disk. Detail is also excellent. Disk is heavy made with front red/orange enamel.

Pierced 2 holes for the eagle to thread through. Also note they are offset to let wings fit evenly. These are like rivets but short on front side and kept enamel in place when filling. Also the enamel shows wear and stain of years of eagle being in place. Shadow has been left by eagle. Back is a ODD texture paint to cover the steel/iron metal.

Some oxidation as seen to back. Also once again a idea of age to this piece. Thought of mine are its for a Kepi cap and the disc was for a leader or special position. Maybe an Gau level indicator before the standard markings. Totally at a loss. PLEASE INFORM ME IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA…
