Tunic Lt Col Schmidt Silver Star winner 9th Div 47th Infantry with book. Incredible uniform tunic fully loaded all original items with the unit history that he placed marks near his name. Like most upper ranked officers he did not put his name in jacket. I dont find this a problem since insignia shows signs of no change and been there long marks. Also has a NICE bullion CIB. 6 original ribbons including battle stars and Normandy arrowhead.
Also the silver star as noted in the included book is on the ribbon bar. Includes the 47th Infantry regiment DUI set on the straps. The Unit Citation that is noted in the book is over the right pocket. A very nice high ranking Battle officers uniform tunic.
