Thought some of the Officers and soldiers coming home with these, took them in and privately silvered it. Furthermore they are quite attractive well finished.

Great original issued box to the soldiers that one man thought enough of it to plate it. Also a nice variation that stands out in a collection. Also these are well documented as such.
