NAVY RADIO SET GRC14 REMOTE CONTACT IN JEEP. Scarce navy radio set c-2172/GRC-14 radio for the M38 jeep. This MINT remote field phone was used by the Navy and Marines in the M38A1 jeeps. They were used in conjunction with the AN/GRC-14 radio main unit.
These were mounted in the jeep or could be removed with strap for field use.
AM-CW-and Telephone capable use. Serial number 77 on this navy radio indicates this may be an Early Model. Original strap from same manufacture is dated 1957. This is the “C-2172/GRC-14” remote set by Federal Tel & Radio Co. A VERY nice set of early USMC Vehicle electronics.
