M14 Sling nylon pack dated 1969/70. opened a few days ago and to my surprise it contained the hard stiff early NYLON M14 sling inside. Nomenclature number on the top is for the cotton sling so Glad I carefully opened it. Very scarce sling to find in Unissued condition with the package.  These were from a early contract most likely and packed with this late date.

This has the Greenish color Metal fittings as early pattern should. M14 Sling Pack
