Insignia bullion Pub Hlth. Condition is uncut and mint unissued. Fine detailed bullion construction with the finer burlap WWII style backing. Wool felt dark blue/black front. These are a hard set of insignia to find. Little known fact is that these members of the Public Health were part of the Armed Forces since about the Civil war period.
They worked closely to guarantee a safer environment without spread of diseases. Worn on the sleeve of the dress uniform above the Officers rank stripes.
