Dog Tag M1940 Chain Sterling Silver Issue. Original set of sterling dog tag chains used early in WWII.  Excellent condition with the sister claw hooks in working order.  These are the type that go to the early tags with the next of kin printed on them.

These were used by all the Armed forces until about 1943-44 when the M43 beaded type were issued.
