Description

Depth Charge Fuze MK234 WWII for MK17 Bomb Air deployable. Official nomenclature is “Bomb fuze MK234-2”. Manufactured in 1943 on both matching parts.  Produced by S.W. Corporation.  This is a 2 piece Hydrostatic fuze that was used on 2 types of Aerial Bombs in WWII.  Difficult to find information on these.

This model is the second and has a lever to adjust the depth to which it exploded. Used by the Marines, Navy, and Air Corps to destroy submarines from the air. Very scarce and looks complete.  Used laterally and not in the nose of the depth charge.  Honestly I have never seen another one of these offered for sale.
