Bayonet AFH 42 WWII. Condition is unissued. Bayonet is 16 inch pattern. No alteration.  Later in 1943 they were cut to a 10 inch length. Excellent parkerized finish with the desired brown grips seen on many of these in the mid war

Bayonet AFH 42 WWII. Condition is unissued. Bayonet is 16 inch pattern. No alteration.  Later in 1943 they were cut to a 10 inch length. Excellent parkerized finish with the desired brown grips seen on many of these in the mid war period. Scabbard is also unissued in condition.

The Navy MKI scabbard is often found on these.  Also may have stayed in Navy service. A wonderful fresh find that walked in the door recently. Bayonet AFH 42. Manufactured by American Fork and Hoe.
