BADGE SHRP AERIAL GUN MEYER. This badge was issued before the Air corps came out with the larger badge that had 4 props on it late in the war. This one is EARLY 1938-1942 manufacture. MEYER made with a single shield on the back. It has the SIMPLE hook without lock to fasten the pin.
Appears to be plated brass also like the early issues. You will also note the bar is small like the standard and not large like the later issue. The Meyer shield is also upside down as found on the early badges.
