WAC WWII NURSES UNIFORM IDENTIFIED TO HALPIN WITH PHOTO. This WWII uniform grouping belonged to a WAC named Betty Halpin. I have no information more than that. Excellent condition with no wear or damage. Insignia is 2nd lieutenant ranks, US and Nurses officers collar insignia. The left shoulder has the Persian Gulf command patch.
This grouping also includes a wonderful original photo of her made out to a friend. The shirt is private purchase and made for Army Nurses as the tag indicates. The original tie and shirt are both in excellent condition and with a size 30 tag. The skirt is tagged and states a size 14 with a waist of 27, and length of 26.5 inches.
The Identification consists of the tag in the neck of the tunic with B. Halpin on it. The shirt has 1416H, being last 4 of her service number and her first initial of her last name. The Photo only says Betty. A WAC WWII nurses uniform that is Identified is a tough find and this one is sure to PLEASE even the best of collectors.
This set would look so wonderful on a mannequin with the photo places nearby. These great uniform sets I have recently got are going at a fast pace and I really have not seen this quality in groupings in a while. Great time to grab one up and boost that Womans service section of your collection.
