DYED STERILIZED DRESSING ACME 2-017-435. Camoflaged small first aid dressing. Came out of a 1951 dated box made by Acme. This MINT box has a ear inside with the 7-51 date on it. The bandage was used by field medics and also carried by individuals in the first aid pouch. They found the WWII metal tins were not always easy to open in the field and started to switch to these by Korean War.
