1898 DATED CAMP MEADE BADGE FOR TROOPS IN SPAN-AM WAR: Camp Meade was an emergency camp.  Opened when Camp Alger’s had a terrible outbreak of infectious disease. Meade was only open and running for about 2 years then closed. this appears to be brass, or copper struck by Robbins and with the original painted flags. Excellent details with no wear.
