JAPANESE TYPE 5 CORP STRAPS. This set of the early Type 5 insignia was used until 1938 on uniforms. Then the type 98 rank took over. They have silver stars on them instead of gold and may have been a field promotion to corporal, but appear to be original to the set.
This set also has writing on the back but unable to translate it. Possibly the corporals name and unit, but unknown.
