1ST PATTERN CAB AWARD SMALL WREATH. Original 1st issue of the current Combat action Badge. About 300 of each of the styles in total in subdued, anodized, and frosted were reported to have been made. They were also the only maker of these.

100 of these were issued and awarded to active military soldiers before the government said NO to this design. Soon it was switched to the one seen today issued with the larger wreath. Correctly marked on original Vanguard cards. A rather SCARCE insignia.
