INSIGNIA OFFICERS 17TH INF. SET. Excellent matched set of 17th infantry officers insignia. This set is of early WWII era. The Regiment was part of the 7th division and had a great battle history in the invasion of the Aleutian island.
They finished in the occupation of Japan after the Battle of Leyte. A very honorable fighting Army unit of the Pacific Theater. Both insignias are stamped with Meyer markings with the early screw back posts with nuts.
