ANC OFFICER GARRISON CAP GREENS. This was most likely a Men’s issue cap but tagged to a ANC officer with the name of Lt. Irene Burnes. Excellent condition with the leather sweatband. About a size 6 5/8. The American Nursing Corps wore the dress greens as the WAC units did.
This cap is well identified and may have further research potential. Very nice lining and without any damage to the Gabardine type material.
