Medal AMR Def Fleet. Condition Excellent. World War Two medal issued to soldiers that were serving before outbreak. 1939 thru December 1941. Bars authorized like this one being “FLEET”. Indicated the Sailor was attached to a Vessel or Air wing on the high seas before Pearl Harbor.
Very nice addition to a medal collection. Sailor has attached his star to it that should be on the ribbon. Often seen this way. AMR def fleet. Sewn broach back
