Helmet Russian M36 WWII. Condition Excellent. Helmet is FIRST year of production. Indicated by the sideways “1” on the back inside rim. also are other markings like lot and such. EARLY manufacture with the small 3 rivets holding the all leather head liner in place. Chin strap on early models are also all leather with the steel adjustment buckle.
Paint is original to the helmet and not a later repaint. One of the finest and best condition helmets I have ever had for this make and model. If you are looking for this model this is the one you want to be in your collection.
