Canteen 1st year plastic 1963 Vietnam early issue. I have photo’d the aluminum 1962 Mirro just for an example, but 1963 is the first year of the plastic canteen in service as a standard issue. By this time the plastics became much better than the WWII version. Excellent condition near unissued. Original cap and a great example of the 1st year of production.
