First Aid Pouch AAVB Co American Awning & Venetian Blind Company.  Excellent MINT unissued condition.  Well dated and manufactured marked 1942.  These were worn on the WWII cartridge and pistol belts in the field.

First Aid Pouch AAVB Co American Awning & Venetian Blind Company.  Excellent MINT unissued condition.  Well dated and manufactured marked 1942.  These were worn on the WWII cartridge and pistol belts in the field.

They would hold one Carlisle bandage used for the soldier if injured.  This is the early small M1928 pattern pouch which they made larger in 1943 to fit the bandages better.  Nice early light OD rich color.

NOTE: This pouch is early marked with the FULL company name and not just American Awning.  Great first aid pouch
