Uniform 82nd AB Army Hdqs DC Grouping Identified. I was able to Identify this soldier and found his grave. His name is SSGT De Mallie. Serial numbers match in all of uniform, cap, and even the paperwork. His 82nd patch was in pocket, but you can see where it was on the uniform.
Anyways he may have been MP and then went to Washington to work in HDQS US ARMY as the SCARCE Sterling marked WWII DUIs are present. A very nice 82nd AIRBORNE uniform with a later transition.
