	1ST PATTERN OFFICERS MODIFIED DENISON SMOCK 1942: This Unissued Denison smock is the WARTIME modified with the full length zipper down the front, favored by officers. Excellent original maker tag dated 1942 and a secondary tag sewn on the inside bottom I don't know (maybe lot numbers). Definitely a ORIGINAL ,a few moth nips to the cuffs but not much and not distracting, and evidence of prong type rank pip being on each shoulder strap. This one has a white stencil on the sides which may indicate it was filled with Lyddite. The rest had different color markings. Like some of the other Inglis's, this pouch probably was brought into service in Canadian troops due to the Broad-arrow and "C" mark. One of the RAREST pouches to acquire in any British or commonwealth collection this one is in great shape.
