BLOOD CHIT WWII LEATHER IDENTIFIED WITH PATCHES AND DOG TAGS GROUPING: probably the best blood chit I have had come in the door.  This one came from the family and with some paperwork from the soldier the original patches (10th is theater made bullion on velvet) and a leather CBI (crispy). but both were folded inside and left good imprints on the leather.  Soldier put all the places he went including Africa to Burma.  WOW both theaters!! Photo of him and wife. and a his original dog tags in early style.  Blood chit removed from jacket and in spectacular flexible condition, bleed over onto the lower from flags, but still one of the best scarcer variations I have seen recently. RARE PLASTIC WWII EXPERIMENTAL 1911A1 HOLSTER FOR PACIFIC THEATER:  As seen in the Scott Meadows Holster book.  This is one of the RAREST of the WWII holsters to actually be produced.  Only a handful out there to exist.  This plastic holster was manufactured about 1942 to replace the leather M1912 type in the Pacific Theater.  Unissued condition with a crack to the flap, and some small ones to the hook area, and fastening lug hole.
