TORPEDO MODEL FROM THE USS SAVANNAH TO SAILOR 1918-19: This is a MK7 Bliss-leavitt type torpedo and it appears to have been made for "G.S. WOODEN TRENCH PERISCOPE MIRROR WITH ORDNANCE ACCEPTANCE STAMP:  You wont see this normally marked like this, but I have a feeling the string had a tag for the ordnance dept as well with manufacture name and such.  This is most likely the one used that was sent to the government for inspection and acceptance for manufacture.  Excellent near mint.
